DNC math

Separate but equal

I just received an email from Tom McMahon at the DNC about a matching gift campaign they are currently running.

According to the graphic included in the email, though, apparently there is also another component to this program — for a limited time only, one white person is the same as a white person and a brown person!

Given the shifting demographics of the American electorate, this could mean big things for the midterm elections. Stay tuned.

    I got the same email, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. I think we should get away from this white/black/latino stuff and think we are are all Americans. The Repubs are always trying to divide us by groups. Sen. Obama gave one of the best speeches at the convention when he said we are not red states or blue states, but the United States

    this is the rainbow of matching gift programs!

    DNC math is an infintely recursive set: one white person equals one white person and one black person. One white person and one black person equals…

    Also, DNC math says that n = n + x. Solving for x, x equals 0. Thus, DNC math says that black people don’t matter.

    Your math’s fucked up. It’s not one white person PLUS one black person, it’s one white person TIMES one black person (n = n * x). x has to be 1, but n could be more or less

    .5 = .5 * 1 OR 1.5 = 1.5 * 1

    Which implies:
    1) Black people are always the same, but white people could be more or less
    2) When there’s more than one white person, the more or less they are then black people grows exponentially
    3) When black people get together, it’s the same as if they were just one person
