Cusack won’t run
Arianna Huffington said this about Cusack for President: “[It] is a joke with a potent punch-line. It’s a fun, cool way for young people to connect to community service and make a difference.” The organizers started the campaign in August 2001 and backed it up with a website that rivals anything put forward by a major-party candidate. The site used the slogan “Why Not?”
The plug got pulled this week when they found out why not: John Cusack doesn’t want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career—and he doesn’t want to run for president. Now I can devote my full attention to a candidate who does want to run. Still, I can’t help but feel the country has lost something. Joan Cusack in 2008, anyone?

Yeah, besides the all-you-can-eat buffet. Just kidding, Mikey. I just haven’t been able to post in a while.

Run for the buffet? You saw me at the Callabash—I wouldn’t have gotten a single crab leg if you hadn’t thrown a few two-handed blocks for me.

Whaahahaha! Any woman who wears a plastic wig in a Robin Williams flick has my vote. Also liked her role as a cradle robbing nurse in Men Don’t Leave or whatever it was called.
