Supplémentaire

The US release date for the Amélie DVD (July 16) was announced a few weeks ago, and it is available for preorder now. But until today, I didn’t know for sure about the extras that would be on the DVD (at least they weren’t listed on Amazon.com).

Here’s the scoop from Buena Vista Home Entertainment, who’ve also announced release dates for In The Bedroom (August 13), Iris (August 20), The Royal Tenenbaums (July 9), and The Shipping News (June 18):

  • The “Look of AMELIE” (English) Featurette
  • Fantasies of Audrey Tautou (French with English subtitles)
  • Q & A with Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet (English)
  • Q & A with Director and Cast (French with English subtitles)
  • Auditions — Audrey Tautou, Urbain Cancelier, Yolande Moreau (French with English subtitles)
  • Storyboard Comparison
  • An Intimate Chat with Jean-Pierre Jeunet (French with English subtitles)

  • “A Quai” Music Video
  • Trailers and TV Spots (French and U.S. trailers and TV spots)

Actually, if you check the link to Amazon.com, it’s tagged with Dawn’s affiliate id. So feel free to order—I promise I won’t be getting a commission.

So, you’re helping pay for my webhosting now? Cool. Hehe.

Thanks for posting all the Amelie DVD goodies. I wasn’t aware of what was going on it. All I know is that I can’t wait and I’m getting it no matter what!
