Even though I feel a little gypped because I didn’t get the chance to see this wax figure in its current state when we visited Madame Tussaud’s in London last month, I appreciate the extra effort they’ve put into the enhancements.

Scary thing is that the British Media are expecting his popularity level to rise as a result of him being too stupid to swallow.
“This latest incident, however, will probably only add to the current president’s popularity: millions of American men would have spent Sunday afternoon wolfing down pretzels and watching the football.”

Ah, but there’s good news. Bush’s approval ratings are starting to slip. Besides, while there may be millions of stupid Americans, just about all of them manage to down their pretzels without getting rug burns on their faces. Of course, if you’re chasing those pretzels with grain alcohol, it makes the scenario a little more plausible.
