barkingmoose: A fire truck pulled down my street earlier, horn honking and siren blaring. Everyone ran to see what was wrong, but as the truck drove past we saw that it wasn’t a fire. It was Santa Claus paying us a visit courtesy of the Lionville Fire Company. While the truck turned around at the end of the cul-de-sac, I ran inside to get my camera (35mm, pictures will be delayed) and Santa posed for me on his way back. I felt like a little kid.

Then as I put the camera away, the doorbell rang. There was nobody there when I got to the door, but on the step was a package from Amazon.com. Could it be that Santa knew I would be out of the country on Christmas and made an early trip just for me? Sure enough, it’s my Secret Santa gift—someone must’ve pulled a lot of strings to pull this one off! So, thanks Secret Santa, whoever you are.
