Tom inspired me to check out Google Groups, and I found this thread from back in 1991, advertising some “Save the Pine Weasel” t-shirts a friend and I printed up to commemorate ABC’s decision to cancel “Twin Peaks.” Before we knew it, we were getting dozens of t-shirt requests from all over the world—from Japan, Scandinavia, and a guy who worked in the same office as my dad. I was selling these things sight unseen... there were no web pages and I didn't know what a GIF was. That was my early glimpse at the commercial possibilities of the Internet, but it was the middle of my junior year and I was too busy to become a t-shirt mogul.
