Tenacious D, The Greatest Band in the World.Forget about New York (and not just because it sold out so fast)—The D is coming to the Electric Factory on Oct. 11 to rock Philadelphia’s socks off. Not sure you’re ready? JB and KG will present the award for Best Group Video at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 6th. And then they’ll be on David Letterman on Sept. 26th, and The Daily Show on Sept. 27th. Looks like 2001 is going to be the Year of the D. Tenacious D will play Town Hall in NYC on September 8.
